Securing WSUS 4 with SSL

I'm working on moving WSUS to server 2012 and securing it with an SSL certificate.  I got the cert and completed the signing.  I can't seem to find any docs on what needs to be done next for server 2012.  Plenty on older versions.  

When I tried enabling SSL on the sites mentioned for older versions I break WSUS.  Any tips?
