Good morning.
We have a Server 2008 Domain controller with the appropriate Windows 10 templates for GPO.
Our Windows 10 workstations are refusing to reboot after the scheduled maintenance. The system will go as far as specify the time to install the updates, but they will just not happen and the PC will just sit with a 'pending install' status.
I have been reading to death the amount of people complaining of the same symptom but i have yet to find a concrete answer.
My Policies are:
Always automatically restart at the scheduled time - 15mins
Configure automatic updating. 4 - Auto download and schedule the install - 23:00
Specify intranet Microsoft update service location
Automatic updates detection frequency - 1 hour
Reschedule automatic updates scheduled installations - 1 minutes
Updates will download, install and schedule the reboot, they just will not happen.
I cannot find anything untoward in the registry settings, WSUS output logs from Powershell or in Group Policy.
Can anybody help us with this issue, as seems like i am going round in circles now.
Thanks a lot, Steve
