I have a SBS 2008 running WSUS, without problem (the DB MICROSFT##SSEE exist and is started).
All local access are OK.
Port 1433 is open (IN and OUT) in the firewall.
I want now install WSUS on a 2012 server, and connect to the DB running on the SBS 2008.
During the installation process of WSUS, when I'm asked to select the DB : I type the address "SBS2008-SRV\MICROSFT##SSEE", and then... I receive an error message. The server or instance cannot be found (error: 26).
How can I connect to that (existing) DB ?thanks in advance for your help.
