My company has begun to add Windows 8 machines to our network. We currently use WSUS to handle all of our updates to our machines. We had been noticing that the Windows 8 machines would error our when we point the group policy to our WSUS server.
We currently have Windows 2000, XP, Vista, and 7 devices on Windows Server 2008 with no issues. They can go out and talk to WSUS with no problem.
Our Windows 8 devices give us a 8024402C error code when we go to check for an update. The computers can go out to the Windows Update website and download the updates from the internet with no issue.
We currently do not use a proxy for our internet. I've tried looking all over for a solution to no avail.
Posted below is a report I received when using the Solarwinds diagnostics tool. If more information is needed, please let me know.
