I look after a small office network, still running SBS 2003 with WSUS 3.0. Clients are everything from Windows XP through to Windows 8.
Our group policy is set for notify to download and update and this has worked fine for years. But three days ago (in the middle of the overnight backup) the SBS server just installed all latest updates and restarted all of it's own accord. This morning, the XP work stations are doing the same thing - just installing updates and rebooting like zombies.
What has changed? Because we have not changed any settings at all. I assume it was an update, and I'm *guessing* it might have to do with XP moving to end-of-life? Can anyone offer any suggestions.
