WSUS metadata export error

Hi,

I am trying to export metadata from a WSUS 3.0 SP2 server using SQL 2005. When I run wsusutil.exe with the parameters it runs but fails with this error in the log...

<ExportError Message="A transport-level error has occurred when receiving results from the server. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 0 - No process is on the other end of the pipe.)" /></ExportLog>

I have enabled the TCP/IP and Named Pipes protocols in SQL. They are selected under surface area configuration as well. I have tried opening the SQL and WSUS inbound and outbound ports in the local firewall. I get this error every time.
