Planning of WSUS server infrastructure

Hi All,

I'm planning to deploy WSUS server for 4000 servers windows update management. But I have below queries on deploying.

1.) How many servers can contact single WSUS server at same to download updates?

2.) What is the hardware configuration would you suggest for this deployment?

3.) if you thought I need to go for load balance. then which method you suggest. like down stream server method, NLB etc?
