Dear forum readers,
I run freshly installed WSUS version 3.2.7600.256 as primary server, synchronizing everything but drivers in English language only, carefully approving only updates which are needed, and which are not superseeded. This works ok for the primary site, server is synchronizing well, clients are updating as expected.
However, adding replica server of the same version on remote site, and invoking synchronization causes replica server to hang at 99% using 100% cpu and to consequently fail. Strangely, after failed sync it becomes aware of approvals on primary server, and also sends information about clients on its site to primary server. Still, last synchronization result is declared as "failed".
I re-installed my whole WSUS system (primary and 4 replicas) because of this issue, but the problem remains. I would rather not experiment as suggested here.
Any "official" ways to fix this?
