I need to provide a solution for a WSUS environment
the issue is the following - 2 domains no trust relations ship will be allowed
domain A - Internet access - will create a WSUS server to sync with Microsoft
domain B - No internet access but we might be able to set a VPN connection to domain A
But we will not be able to create a trust
on the server standing at the Domain B we will have NO internet access and the server is more than 500km's away
Exporting/Importing the wsus data from Domain A to Domain B is also not really an option as we only have a 512kBps line that is shared with other services
would it be possible to create 2 wsus servers that are not in a domain but in a workgroup and then have them synchronize with each other - the only other issue then would be to point the end user machines on domain B to the WSUS server. The sync between the 2 servers would then just take a whole lot of time if that would be possible at all
