Hello, at work I have WSUS server which get approval/declined patch information imported into inhouse WSUS server (WSUS 1) after the compatibility test with our company products. Then it synchronizes to consolidated WSUS server (WSUS C). WSUS C
synchronizes with 2 other WSUS servers (WSUS 2 & WSUS 3).
Obviously WSUS C has more approved patches because it gets synchronized with source servers WSUS 1, WSUS 2, WSUS 3.
There are computer groups A to H in WSUS 1.
There are computer groups I to N in WSUS 2.
There are computer groups O to Z in WSUS 3.
WSUS C has all of the above computer groups A to Z, hence it's alled consolidated WSUS server.
Each approval/decline information is different by computer groups.
What I'm having trouble now is how to check by report or whatever other way to confirm approval patch info from WSUS 1 is synchronized correctly to WSUS C. Please don't suggest to check each update manually. In the worst case, if I could compare the total
number of patches fro Computer group A to H in WSUS 1 and WSUS C, that's also acceptable. It sounds like a easy task, but I can't figure out the best & easiest way to achieve this..
I need to find a way to do this in the easiest and least error prone way possible.
Please let me know.
Regards,
Ken
