Deploying update as a stand-alone

There is a note on https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3020369 under the Known issues which says:

• Note In managed environments, such as by using Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), you can avoid either of these issuesby deploying this update as a stand-alone update.

I suppose that means that I should release only this update without the others.

But what about newly installed computers in the future ?

Won't they install all updates together ?

Or is there some way to define update as stand-alone which I'm not familiar with ?
