I am trying to uninstall WSUS 3.0 SP1 on a test server and its giving the error "'UpdateServicesPackages' is not a valid short file name." I'm sure this was caused by taking the server out of the domain it was in when I installed it and then adding it to the test domain. At first there was no specific error, it just wouldn't uninstall, so I followed the instructions from this forum post to import the registry settings from another WSUS server, change the value of wYukonInstalled to 0, and copy Wsussetup.msi to "C:\WINDOWS\installer" http://forums.techarena.in/server-update-service/778282.htm Here's the WSUSSetup.log:
