We currently have a new WSUS 2012 that we are trying to get to talk to our existing SCCM 2007 and SCUP 2011 and everything tests and appears to be working fine until we go to publish a package. Looking through the logs of SCUP I see the following:

From all of the research I have done this error most commonly occurs when the versions of WSUS do not match between the WSUS server and the SCCM server. Both of our servers appear to be running WSUS 3.0 SP2, but on the 2012 server the version is showing as 6.2.9200.16384 and on the 2008 R2 server it is showing as 3.2.7600.226. Does anyone know if there is a comparability issue because they show up as different versions? how how to get them to work together?
