.Net framework upgrade from 4.0 to 4.5.1 via WSUS failed

Hi,

We want to upgrade .Net framework from 4.0 to 4.5.1 on Windows 7 PC's in our environment via WSUS. We approved the patch KB2858725 which is an in-place update to .Net framework 4, 4.5, but the systems with version 4.0 are not retrieving this in-place update for 4.5.1 from WSUS. Hence the upgrade activity failed through WSUS.

Below are the steps taken while testing:

1. Created a test group in WSUS and approved the .Net framework in-place update KB2858725

2. Pointed some Windows 7 test machines to the test group and performed "Check for updates"

However, this did not fetch the 4.5.1 update from WSUS.

Please assist us to do the upgrade via WSUS.
