The clocks are synced correctly, device has the same group policy for Windows Updates as the other 700 workstations on the network. but it cannot connect to my SSL secured WSUS server. Connecting directly to the SelfUpdate URL via IE11 gives:
Turn on TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1, and TLS 1.2 in Advanced settings and try connecting tohttps://WSUS-SERVER:8531 again. If this error persists, it is possible that this site uses an unsupported protocol or cipher suite such as RC4(link for the details), which is not considered secure. Please contact your site administrator.
There are no proxies configured:
Current WinHTTP proxy settings:
Direct access (no proxy server).
I also cannot access the SelfUpdate URL via Firefox:
Secure Connection Failed
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
