We have recently setup a couple new servers and trying to get WSUS to work. The primary server that runs WSUS can get updates and can be seen in the WSUS console, however our 2nd server isn't detected by the console. There is definite network connectivity
and I can ping between the two servers. There is no proxy set as well.
The windowsupdate.log primarily gives me:
Reporter failed to upload events with hr = 80072efd
Send failed with hr = 80072efd
PTError: 0x80072efd
RefreshConfig failed: 80072efd
RefreshPTState failed: 80072efd
+Last proxy send request failed with hr = 80072efd, HTTP status code = 0
+Caller provided credentials = No
I am also getting all those same things with 80072ee2
