Query WSUS for specific Security Update file size.

Given the UniqueUpdateID (or other data from SCCM databse) how can I programmatically determine a Security Update's file size?

I assume that this data is not available in the SCCM database (because I haven't been able to find it) and that it is in the WSUS database.

I am responsible for reporting (with SSRS) on our monthly patch distribution to 30,000+ workstations and I have a requirement to identify (and exclude from the success rate calculation) those updates that are over 5MB in size. These patches are excluded from our SLA because we have many slow links that may not be able to deliver those patches on time. I've been led to believe that querying the WSUS database is not a supported function so I'd rather not do that but without another solution I will likely have to go that route.

This was easy with ITMU as there was a known folder path to the deployment package in SMS and each patch was in it's own folder which had the UniqueUpdateID as it's name. Now with SCCM and WSUS, I have not been able to figure out how to get this data through code. I can see the file size in the SCCM console but I don't think it's in the SCCM database. I understand that querying the WSUS database is not a supported function.
