oh and here is what the seller sent me...
Hi,
This is M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD, not a ram stick.
You will need to find if your PC has M.2 port on the motherboard.
Here is some information we found on the internet.

Then you should reinstall the windows to the new ssd.
can you remote connect and help guide me to the best of your ability
You should create a bootable device using this steps.
I have the win 10 1809 on iso flashdrive
Good then.
Use the flash drive to reinstall windows 10 on the new ssd.
nothing unuasual in event viewer
like hardware malfunction
do we need a driver?
To install Windows 10 using bootable drive by performing Clean Installation:
1. Plug the flash drive on the affected PC
2. Restart the PC
or some way to partition the drives deleting primary?
Note: If you did not automatically boot up from the flash drive, follow step 3 - 7.
3. Newer computers often display a startup (or boot) menu. On the startup menu, choose "BIOS setup" or "BIOS settings" or something similar.
Note: Procedures vary depending ont eh BIOS manufacturer. Usually, you must press a key (such as F2, F12, Delete, Esc, Tab) or a key combination immediately after you turn on your computer but before Windows starts. If the Windows logo appears, you need
to try again by waiting until the Windows logon prompt appears, and then shutting down and restarting your computer again.
The BIOS setup screen appears. On the BIOS setup screen, choose the option called "Boot Order" or something similar. Boot order settings might also be listed under "Advanced settings" or something similar.
Select your DVD drive or USB flash drive as the first startup device. (The USB flash drive might be listed udner "Removable devices" or something similar.)
yes. I know how to do a clean install as well as reset
Save the setting changes, and then exit the BIOS.
Restart your computer.
Once the manufacture's logo appeared, press any keys.
Choose language, time and currency format and keyboard input method.
but I just did reset and my SSD is not showing
Click the Install Now button
Enter the prodcut key (Or you can skip it by clicking the Skip or I'm reinstalling Windows 10 on this PC Link)
Choose the Custom install option
On the Where do you want to install Windows? Screen: * Select a Partition (Drive 0, etc.) * Click Delete * Repeat until there is only Drive 0 Unallocated Space * Select that Partition then click New * Click Next to proceed
The installer should automatiically install all the Windows 10 files in your system.
Thank you.
